A new extension to a detached Arts and Crafts house deserved a kitchen with character, in a design sympathetic to the origins of the property.
A vibrant floral wallpaper sets the tone, filling the expansive back wall to create depth and cosiness that grounds the kitchen. Curved details and raw oak, stained on site, give surfaces and cupboards an Arts and Crafts feel to match the original reclaimed fireplace.
The island features insets of copper vein quartz for pastry making and a contrasting light oak chopping block. Base cupboards were handcrafted with an intricate inset detail and hand-painted.
